MTA is your best choice for visiting Macon's many historic sites. museums, and other attractions. The best way to see downtown Macon's many historic sites and museums is to ride MITSI, the trolley operated by MTA. Self-guided tours are offered Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The cost is only $1 and the tour is approximately 25 minutes long. You may also purchase a guided Historic Macon Intown Trolley Tour from the Macon Convention & Visitors Bureau, which includes passage aboard the trolley and admission into the most popular attractions.

Visit our office in Macon's historic downtown terminal station for maps, guides and other information. Then walk down the street to the Macon Convention & Visitors Bureau to begin your Macon exploration!
